Deadline for alarm registration approaching
All residents and business owners in unincorporated Cobb who have burglar alarms are required to register the system with the county by Dec. 31. The new alarm ordinance goes into effect Jan. 1 and there will be fines for failure to register and excessive false burglar alarms. Registration is free and available online at cobbpolice.com or by calling 866-902-7110.
