Join us on 1/12/10 for an informative program for parents of Middle School Students and current 5th graders at our feeder schools.Learn what you need to do to keep your children safe and successful.
 
Keynote (6:30 – 7:15 p.m.)
“Understanding the Adolescent Brain,” (Speaker: Ken Johnson, Licensed Professional Counselor and Administrative Director of East West Psychotherapy Associates)
 
Breakout Sessions (7:15 – 8:00 p.m.)
Choose from one of three informative breakout sessions:
  • Internet Safety (Speaker: Jacqui Collins-Luther, IBM Engagement Manager/ Homeland Security)
  • Bullying and Peer Pressure  (Speaker: Dr. Patti Agatston, Cobb County School’s Prevention Intervention Center)
  • Homework, studying and test prep  (Speakers: Panelists from LMS’ School and Family Governance Committee)
