  6th Grade Holiday Party 
 
Dear Parents & Guardians,
 
Plans are underway for the Student Holiday party to be held on Wednesday, December 16th, from 2:30 to 4:00.  We will be hosting team parties, with teachers planning activities for the students (karaoke, movie, and games).  We will be soliciting food/beverage donations from students and parents for the party based on the students’ homeroom, see list below. All items purchased should only cost between $2 and $4.  Therefore, if you would rather submit a donation instead of providing the requested item, your student may bring in this donation starting next Thursday, December 10 through Tuesday, December 15.  This money will be used to supplement the items below by purchasing items that are not as prevalent once students have brought items in, and to purchase items for our Holiday Drawing (see below).
 
Please send all food & beverage items and monetary donations from Thursday, December 10 through Tuesday, December 15.

Searcy – individually wrapped pretzels or potato chips 
Jackson – individually wrapped pretzels or potato chips 
Slaton – juice boxes 
Shivertaker – juice boxes

Hague - individually wrapped cookies or sweets 
Robinson - individually wrapped cookies or sweets 
Jones – candy canes 
Nasta – candy canes 
Thayer – holiday pencils or pens
Williams – holiday pencils or pens 
Rogers– brown paper lunch bags 
Skillman– brown paper lunch bags 
Holcomb– individually wrapped pretzels or potato chips

In addition to the food and festivities, there will be a holiday gift silent drawing in which the students will be using “iBucks” they will be earning for various things between now and the party to win prizes.  In order for this to be successful, we need parent assistance in the form of either donations of items, i.e. gift cards, new books, sports items such as basketballs, or monetary donations as described above.
