The following are positions that could use your help!
 
  7th Grade: Co-Chair for Coordinator:
Fun and exciting opportunity to attend several of your child's events at school. You will work closely with Mr. House and the other coordinators. A great way to know other parents and be involved in your child's social life.
  Hospitality Chair :
A great way to showcase your catering and hospitality skills.
  Cultural Arts Chair:
A great way to showcase your organizational and communication skills.

  Work in the PTSA School Store!
Looking for a way to volunteer at school without breathing down your independent student's neck?  Well, we have the position for you!

The store, which sells logo merchandise, school supplies, books, and snacks is open every school day before homeroom/advisement. Parent volunteers staff the store, and all profits are invested right back into the school through the PTSA.
 
Volunteers are needed 8:40 am - 9:30 am. If you would like to be added to the schedule, please email your intent, along with how often you are available (every other week to once per month,) listing any days of the week you are not available, to Donna Longman at donna@jumpon.net. 
 
The fall schedule will be developed in time for Meet-n-Greet.

Katelyn Pope
 
Lovinggood Alumni and Rising Ninth Grader Katelyn Pope to play this Sunday at the Atlanta Braves Battle of the Bands contest at Turner Field.
Katelyn Pope's one hour pregame show will begin at 4:30 p.m. with the Braves taking on the Mets at 6:05 p.m. We are asking the Lovinggood and Hillgrove Communities to come and and support her to win the Battle of the Bands.  She was one of 32 Bands asked to perform this summer.  Winners are selected by fan support and ticket sales.  You may purchase any ticket half price through her music myspace by using the Atlanta Braves Banner on her site and putting in BRBAND as the promotion code. She will be performing approx 25 songs, originals and covers with band Prime.
 
Make a poster and come on out to cheer her on. She would love to see familiar faces.
