Hillgrove L’il Hawks Cheerleading Registration
 
Hillgrove L’il Hawks Cheerleading is holding registration on Saturday July 18, 2009, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the High School field house.  Someone will be available, at that time, to  answer any questions.
 
We will offer  both sidelines and competion squads this season.  L’il Hawks Cheer is open to girls ages 5 – 13. For further information please contact our Director -  Dr. Crystal Consonery at hillgrovelilhawkscheer@gmail.com
 
 

Cobb Schools Implement Higher Standards of Conduct For Students In Extracurricular Activities and Sports

At its June 10, 2009 work session the Cobb County Board of Education unanimously approved holding students who participate in sports and extracurricular activities to higher behavior standards. Administrative Rule JICDD amends prior rules with more stringent consequences for infractions involving alcohol or drug use, tobacco use or charges of criminal activity. Effective immediately, the updated guidelines clarify the school district’s expectations for student behavior outside of the classroom and are applicable 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, on or off school grounds.
