PENS Meeting

West Cobb Residents,

We are currently planning our quarterly PENS meeting here at Precinct 5 and invite all to attend. The meeting will be on Thursday, March 25th,at 7:00 pm.

Precinct 5 is located at 4640 Dallas Highway, on the corner of Dallas Highway and Midway Road.

We look forward to meeting you.

Our clinic has expanded its space!
 65
=the average # of students seen by our nurse on a daily  basis ! 
 
The FCCLA club at LMS
(Family, Career and Community Leaders of America )
 is asking for your help to “stock” the clinic.
 We have scheduled  school-wide,
 “Clinic Care Donation Days” 
Thursday- March 18 & Friday- March 19
 
 Please donate any of the following items to the marked boxes outside the Media Center :
        •  Bandaids 
        • 4X4 gauze 
        • 3 oz. paper cups 
        • Clorox/Lysol wipes 
        • Eye wash 
        • Snack crackers/ pretzels 
        • Small water bottles 
 Mrs. Wizner helps so many of us!
 Let’s help her!
Hey Hey it's FCA!Lovinggood on the Lawn is on the way!
April 30th is the big day!
 
How can you help, you say?
By donating fun gift cards which are designed for play!
Collections will begin this Friday at FCA!
 
What??   Donations of gift cards and games for Silent Auction baskets(Examples: board games, restaurants and pizza places, tickets to sporting events, spa treatments, Blockbuster, movie theatre gift certificates, Target, Claire's, American Eagle, Brusters, etc.)
 
When and Where??  Friday morning (8:00 a.m.) FCA meetings for the months of March and April

Hillgrove's Fall Colorguard Training Camp
Hillgrove's Fall Colorguard Training Camp will be held on the following dates from 6:00pm - 8:00pm:
  • April 13 - April 14 - April 15
  • April 20 - April 21 - April 22

Auditions will be held on the 22nd.

No experience is necessary. All auditionees will be taught dance basics (ballet), flag technique, and rifle/sabre basics.
BRING A FRIEND!!!!!

Hillgrove Bands present:
How to be a Freshman Band Parent:
An Orientation by Parents...for parents
  
Freshmen band parents generally have more questions than the directors have answers.  Fact of the matter is, the transition to High School Band can be confusing, even downright overwhelming.  The parents of the Hillgrove High School Bands have prepared a orientation JUST FOR YOU.  
When: April 27th
Time:  7:00 pm
Where:  Hillgrove High School: Joseph B Boland Theater

We will have the general, all grades, Band Orientation meeting to follow.

Students are invited to attend!  We will be having a band student meet and greet concurrently, in the band hall.

2011–2012 PTA Reflections Theme Selected

National PTA is proud to announce the 2011–2012 PTA Reflections Program theme: "Diversity means..." This winning theme was submitted by a student at Ozark North Elementary PTA in Ozark, Missouri, and will inspire all the artworks for the 2011–2012 program year. Please join us in celebrating this outstanding student contribution.

Remember, the 2010–2011 theme is "Together We Can."

Due to inclement weather, all Cobb County schools will close two hours early today, Tuesday, March 2.

  • The ASP after-school program is cancelled.
  • All extra-curricular activities are also cancelled.
