Attention: Parents of rising 9th graders
AVID - Is it right for your student?
 
AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination):
  • college preparatory elective;
  • offered during the school day;
  • focusing on organizational skills, study skills, writing and inquiry skills;
  • for those students who need an extra push to succeed in more advanced classes.
