2010 Silverhawks 6th grade Pre-view Camp

 At Lovinggood Middle School

 

  • Session 1  - 9:00- 11:30 a.m.  for Rising 6th Graders from Still and Cheatham Hill Elementary Schools
  •   Session 2  - 12:00- 2:30 p.m.  for Rising 6th Graders from Dowell and Kemp Elementary Schools

 

This pre-view camp gives new Lovinggood 6th graders and their parents a chance to tour the school, learn about day to day life at Lovinggood and get some tips for a successful transition into middle school.  Activities include:

    • tours of the school
    • locker practice sessions
    • organization tips
    • question-answer sessions

This camp is for rising 6th graders and their parents; no student should be dropped off and be unaccompanied.  Parent information sessions will be geared towards parents who are sending a student to middle school for the first time.

Advance voting for the July 20 primary and special election will be held through July 16 and all locations will be open 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Any Cobb voter can vote at any of the following locations. For more information, call 770-528-2581.
