We all know that Lovinggood is a GREAT school! ONE of the MANY reasons that Lovinggood is so great is because of the involved PTSA that supports it. Think of a sundae without the cherry or the cake without the icing. Sure, it’s good, but it is so much better with the extras!
Many of you may not realize what the PTSA does for the school. Well, we would like to share just a few things thus far this year in hopes of encouraging those that have not yet signed up to be a member to join:
RACHEL’S CHALLENGE ASSEMBLY for which created the ‘Chain Links Club’ encouraging students to spread kindness by their actions.
HONORS CELEBRATIONS celebrating the achievement of our students each semester.
CLINIC DONATIONS to provide much needed supplies for our students (bandages, water, juices, snacks, etc).
MEDIA CENTER DONATIONS to increase offerings to students.
PE DONATIONS for new fitness equipment.
CRCT MATERIALS used in all classrooms to get students prepared for testing in the spring.
TEACHER LEARNING GRANTSwith a requirement that they must benefit all students they teach
AND MUCH MUCH MORE!!
All we ask is that each family have at least ‘one’ member of the family join PTSA. The cost is $5 – a minimal charge for improving your child’s education.
The deadline for being recognized by Georgia PTA for 100% membership is rapidly approaching. We have until the END OF FEBRUARY to submit the LAST 14 MEMBERSHIPS needed to reach this goal. Let’s show Georgia PTA that Lovinggood MS is serious about supporting our students and school.
If you would like more information or have any questions, feel free to contact Lisa Nettina at lisanettina@yahoo.com.
Bales will be delivered within 15 ft of where a medium sized truck can access, usually the end of your driveway, or a pinestraw bed out front.
